After the electrifying kickoff to this series, I was itching to get my hands on The Blinding Knife. This book review does contain certain spoilers to the first book in this series The Black Prism if you have not read it already… so beware!

Red Rising Book Review (No Spoilers!)

Red Rising (Red Rising #1) is the first fantasy book of the Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown. I was browsing the Barnes and Noble recommended reading list and found the general gist of this fantasy story to be somewhat compelling.

My curiosity piqued, I perused a few online reviews to get an unbiased third party perspective. I found out the fantasy novel was a New York Times best seller and has received much praise since its initial release in 2014.

From there, it was an easy decision to take this fantasy book home and at least give the first couple chapters a try. Now here I am, providing you with this Red Rising review!

The Wise Man’s Fear (The Kingkiller Chronicle: Day Two) is the second fantasy book of the Kingkiller Chronicle fantasy series by Patrick Rothfuss.

I recently read the first fantasy book of the Kingkiller Chronicle The Name of the Wind and absolutely savored every bit of it. Consequentially, I gave the sequel a shot and ended up reading the entirety of the nigh on one thousand pages with little difficulty.

This fantasy novel was recommended to me by a number of sources. After doing some research on my own, I found this book among many of the best fantasy novel lists on the web.

Fire and Blood by George R.R. Martin is a prequel to the highly acclaimed Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series. I had soaring expectations for this fantasy novel because George R.R. Martin is one of the most highly acclaimed fantasy writers of all time.

Although the book did not eclipse the Song of Ice and Fire series, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Let’s get into the Fire and Blood review!
